| My great grandfather's dress business thrived for more than 30 years before it was closed. Many dresses appeared in fashion magazines and department stores throughout New York City, and eventually, throughout the United States. Later, he worked with other designers to create new fashions that were ahead of their time and can still be worn today as modern attire. |
